Former England international and Western Suburbs player, Ellery Hanley will be a special guest at the Wests Tigers Gala Dinner at Curzon Hall, Marsfield, on Thursday, June 28.
Hanley is one of the greatest English players to ever
pull on a boot and enjoyed stints with Balmain Tigers and Western
Suburbs Magpies in the late 80s.
The dinner promises to be a
spectacular event. Hanley will be joined by former Great Britain
international Garry Schofield, who also played for Balmain Tigers and
Western Suburbs Magpies, at the dinner.
A special tribute will
also be held in honour of Wests Tigers international second-rower Gareth
Ellis who returns home to England at the end of this season.
